ABOUT THE FILM

At a business school, Margaret tries to organize a team building event so that the employees can get closer to nature and each other!

"Fabulous comic satire" - Ulrik Eriksen, Morgenbladet

"A quirky part of the big conversation we need to have about nature and culture" - Øyvor Dalan Vik, Dagens Næringsliv

Filmmaker Mariken Halle read "This Changes Everything" by Naomi Klein before filming this film. The book is about how we cannot act precisely in the face of the climate crisis without understanding the economic structures that govern our society. That is why Tomorrow's Heroes takes place at a business school. After this screening of the film, we will all have an opportunity to learn more! There will be a conversation with director Mariken and professor of economics Ola Kvaløy from the University of Stavanger. About climate, economics and the need for more circular models that take into account the earth's capacity and future generations. Welcome!

OLA KVALØY

Professor of economics at the Norwegian School of Economics, University of Stavanger and musician. He has served on the expert committee appointed by the government for recommendations in the climate and environmental fields and writes regularly for Dagens Næringsliv. Kvaløy is on the editorial board of the Kåkå-nomics economy festival - the Nordic region's leading festival for economics and politics, which takes place in Stavanger every autumn.

MARIKEN HALLE

Filmmaker educated at the Film School in Kabelvåg and the Valand Academy in Gothenburg. She graduated from Valand with the feature film "Maybe Tomorrow" and has since worked in artist-run production companies.
